The Fair Practices Office was introduced in December 2018 as a result of the review of the workers' compensation system that occurred in 2016/2017.
The Fair Practices Office operates under the authority of Alberta's Workers' Compensation Act and the Fair Practices Office Regulation.
We are led by the Fair Practices Commissioner, who reports directly to Alberta’s Minister of Labour.
