Help with WCB

If you have questions about where to go or who to contact in WCB or the rest of the workers’ compensation system, we can help.

We offer path finding services to assist workers, employers, and all Albertans in navigating the system.

We can:

  • Provide information about policies and processes that are used in various parts of the system.
  • Provide advice about what is covered under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
  • Answer questions about how the system operates.
  • Connect you to the office, service or person in the system that is best placed to assist you.
  • Help you determine the status of your matter in the overall claims process.

Our website contains some information about the workers’ compensation system that may be able to help you.

Connecting You with Additional Support

Alberta’s workers’ compensation system provides specific benefits and services for eligible workers and employers.

If these benefits and services do not fully address the needs of yourself, your family or your business, we may be able to help.

We can connect you with services and supports outside of the system that may be able to meet your needs. For example:

  • Assistance and services from the Government of Alberta (e.g., financial, housing employment and training assistance).
  • Health and other services provided by Alberta Health Services or other public bodies.
  • Social services and other supports offered by non-profit and community organizations.
